My deepest condolences to the Family.Ed was a Good Friend.He will be missed.

Where do I begin.  I met Ed back in 1989 when he worked at Bennys Part Time and my older brother and younger brother worked with him. In casual conversation we became friends. Over the past 34 years the friendship grew stronger … we played in pool leagues, played on the family softball team. He taught me to ride a motorcycle. When life changed and he needed a place .. he became a tenant
Ed … all I can say and I know for a fact. You were the kindest most giving person I have ever met.  It was always his goal to put a smile on someone’s face. He worked hard and long hours lugging beer and never complained … because he said it was his job and it’s his job to do. When he finally retired, he said it was now time to rest and just do what he wanted .. you did Ed and that much more for everyone you met
To Ed’s family I know how hard it is but I knew how much he loved you all especially the nephews and great nephew’s.  He also loved making children smile and any animal that crossed his path 
You will be missed by so many my good friend and that is the mark of a true gentleman 
You were that gentleman

So I met Ed when I first started at dunkin donuts on chalkstone ave back in 2014. I would always go sit with him at dunkin at night to do music night. Then he met my kids and they simply fell in love with him and called him uncle spaghetti.... I would call him Eddie spaghetti... then on his birthdays I would bake him a cake the kids and I and we would do a little party at dunkin. He was always there for me to talk to when I was going through hard times.. he gave my daughter words of encouragement when me and Eddie spaghetti took her to her first year of diabetes camp.... theses and many more memories will live with us always... we will miss you so very much.

Never forget you Cousin Eddy.  See you on the other side. I always loved to be in your house on Common Street in Smith Hill. I remember your dog Blacky. Your mom, aunt Evelyn was such a sweet person, and your dad Uncle Eddy was so quiet and very kind. I will never forget Cousin Coreen.  So beautiful with her red hair. She was so wonderful. I will never forget those great memories. Abe’s Gas Station, the Elm Diner and the great Smith Hill community.  
RIP in Peace my Cousin.

My condolences to all of Eds family and friends. It was an honor to be able to spend even a little time every day with Ed along the years at Dunkin. He was like a father or uncle figure to all of the staff there. He was always kind, had a smile on his face, no matter what. He cheered us up as soon as he would walk through the door. He will be very much missed as a regular at 1800 Smith st. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences for you’re loss.I met Ed 12 years ago when we became friends over daily cups of coffee.He was the funniest and most loyal person I’ve ever had the pleasure meeting.I am going to miss him dearly and I’ll miss his daily phone calls he always knew how to bring a smile to my face.

My friend from dunkin,you was always smiling and friendly to everyone around you,you allow me to express myself and listen to my crazy stories,On monday i mention we should get jackets for all the dd meeting.you laughed and smile,i turned around and said see you tomorrow.I wish i had said more than just simple words.Rest in peace.

I will miss you dearly Ed and I will never forget all of our conversations at dunkin and all of the nights from closing with the rest of our friends! You were kind, funny and always said it like it was! I always admired and respect you for that!
