Elena has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, all who cherish the time spent with her! Never having children of her own, she embraced all of us as her own and adored the relationships she developed with each of us! She had a unique personality, very humorous at times, fun to be with. Small in stature but power packed! She was independent, well-organized, conscientious and always nicely dressed, very fashionable! She always lended an ear, if needed! She was a great cook and baker, just like her Mom, who she resided with until Grandma passed! Auntie Elena made delicious Italian Wandi’s and Struffoli (Italian Honey Balls) for the Holidays!
Auntie Elena has recently been remembered as a hot ticket, wonderful woman, key influential figure from childhood, beautiful spirit, fun in a group with her sisters, always having a good time and great laughs with her!! Her favorite pastime was going to the track or the casino! Elena adored her family and we adored her!! She will be missed dearly by family and friends!
Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, quarantining and social distancing, Elena will be cremated, upon her wishes, and her Celebration of Life Mass will be held in St. Anthony’s Church, North Providence on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM (masks required).
