Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Conti) Ricci.
Betty was an office manager for Sanmartino’s Jewelers for 32 years and later worked for Harvard Health for 10 years before retiring. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed traveling.
She was the mother of Barbara Roach and her husband Joseph Jr. and the late John and Betty Ann Volpe; grandmother of Joseph III and sister of Alphonse and Rose Ricci.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Thursday at 8:30 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence.
