Eva Marie Doyle

Eva M. Doyle (Leach) 81, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Raymond Doyle. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Eva L. (Clifford) Leach. She worked as a trimmer and inspector at Mine Safety in Esmond for many years before retiring. Eva was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She leaves her two sons, Dennis A. Doyle, and his wife, Debbie, of Johnston, and Timothy R. Doyle, and his wife, Donna, of North Providence; five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Alfred F. Leach (Former Battalion Chief of the Providence Fire Dept.) and Irene L. Norton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am, at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, from 5-7 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.
