Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Francis Sheridan Eaton, Sr. and Gloria May (Gingery) Eaton and brother of the late Gloria P. Eaton.
Francis is survived by his son Francis S. Eaton, III, his grandchildren Nodoka May Eaton, Anthony Lewis and Layla Mendillo; ex-wife and friend Jacqueline Eaton; and close family member Mary Viveiros; long-time friend Doreen Lewis and her sons, Michael Lewis and Billy Mendillo. He was the god-father of the late John Medeiros.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 28th from 11 am-1 pm followed by his funeral service at 1:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
