Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Andres and Francisca (Cordero) Sanchez.
He was the father of Jose Miguel Sanchez, Tania Josefina Vazquez and the late Claudia Miguelina Alcantara and grandfather of 9. He was also the brother of Maria Alida Sanchez and Teresa Cruz.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence from 5 to 8 pm.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. www.romanofuneralhome.com.
