North Providence Frank J. O'Connor, 61, of North Providence, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Elaine J. (Burlingham) O'Connor. They were married for 34 years.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Francis J. and Evelyn (Burke) O' Connor.Frank worked as a manager in the maintenance and engineering department at Roger Williams Medical Center for the past 20 years. He loved his family and enjoyed traveling. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Kyle F. O' Connor and his girlfriend Amanda; a brother, Terrance (Marilyn) O' Connor; six sisters, Sharon (Jim) O'Grady, Maureen (Rudy) DeCrescenzo, Kathleen (Joseph) Hubert, Gail (Joseph) Mastropietro, Patti (Steven) Melaragno and Nancy (Robert) Winters; and numerous nieces and nephews.The funeral will begin on Monday, at 9:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours Sunday 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-9376, in his memory would be appreciated.
