Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Fannie (Callei) LaVecchia.
Frank enjoyed fishing and earned a black belt in karate.
He was the loving father of Frank J. LaVecchia, Jennifer A. LaVecchia, and Robert W. Gemma and his wife Rosalie; cherished grandfather of Darianna, Montana, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Luke, Naomi, and Abigail; and devoted brother of Ronald LaVecchia and his wife Joyce.
His visitation will be held Friday, April 21st from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St, Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
