

Warwick George J. Lang, Sr., 82, of Williamsburg Circle, died Saturday evening, August 15, 2015, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Maureen T. (Leahy) Lang. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Charles and Sarah (Ryan) Lang. George was a crane operator at the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, in Groton Connecticut, for over thirty years before retiring in 1986. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He leaves two daughters, Michaela Beagan and Geraldine Lewis; three sons, George J. Lang, Jr., Patrick J. Lang and Timothy J. Lang; a brother, William Lang; a sister, Mary Remington; and nine loving grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Charles Lang and Rita Devine. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 7:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 618 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial, with military honors, will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday, 3:00 - 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 in his memory will be appreciated.
