George Lee Richards, 77, died on Tuesday, February 13, at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital from complications from a fall. He worked at Jamestown Publishers for 20 years after serving in the Marine Corps. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
George is survived by his loving wife, Maria, his daughter, Kimberly, and his son George, along with his brother Edward and his sister Hazel O’Rourke.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home on 331 Smith Street, followed by an interment with full military honors at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at 1 Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston, RI.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 in his memory. This would be greatly appreciated.
