ProvidenceGertrude E. Barbery, 92, of Inkerman Street, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Elmhurst Extended Care, Providence. She was the wife of the late Alfred U. Barbery, Sr.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Charlotte (Crossley) Seddon.Gertrude is survived by her children, Charlene Rainey, Raymond U. Barbery, Sr., John J. Barbery; her sister Ruth Santoro and 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.She was the mother of the late Alfred U. Barbery, Jr; sister of the late Jesse, John, Raymond "Chubby" Seddon and Mildred O'Donnell and grandmother of the late Alfred U. Barbery, III.Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 9:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 am. Burial will be PRIVATE.
