Born in Columbus, OH, Gloria was the daughter of the late Grover Whiteside and Julia Etta Robinson
Gloria was employed as a Nutritional Assistant for the Providence School Department before her retirement.
Gloria is survived by a son, Sheldon Williams, her daughters, Monica Williams, Lisa Williams, Tamara Olodan, her brother, Gordon Tate, her grandchildren, LaVar, LaVell, Amado, Alizet, Daveris, Dontay, Antwon, Marquis, Kontrell, Shelqwaunia, Tavonna, Tyler, and her great grandchildren, Lavascia, Kiara, Connie, Morgan, Dior, Heaven,Harmony ,Semaj, Chanelle, Shadae, Nialah and Antwon Jr. She was the mother of the late Ernest Williams, Jr., great grandmother of the late Maya, and sister of the late Norma Jean Tate.
