Howard E. Nightingale, Sr., 50, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 22, 2014. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond Nightingale and the late Barbara (Burdick) O'Dowd. He leaves a son, Howard E. Nightingale, Jr., of West Warwick; siblings, Donna Matos. Dorothy McDonald, Raymond Nightingale, Jr., Barbara DaSilva, and Evelyn DeCesare; and three grandchildren, Alisa, Briana, and Juliana Nightingale. Howard was also the step-son of Patrick O’Dowd.Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Howard's family on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm, in the Russell J.
