Ingrid was a deeply spiritual woman who embraced her Catholic faith with a passion and loved the Lord with all her heart. She had a
special love for the unborn and offered her many prayers and sufferings for their protection.
Ingrid was a member of St. Patrick’s parish community for many years.
She shared her gift of singing in the church choir and was a member of the ‘Word of God’ Singers. She was known to spontaneously break out in song or an Alleluia!! She was an avid writer, poet and photographer and delighted in sharing her artistic talent with family and friends.
Ingrid is survived by three siblings; Anne Marie Bentsen of West Warwick, RI.; Luanna Lavoie of West Warwick, RI.; and James Bentsen of Pawtucket, RI. Additionally, she has nieces and a nephew, and a number of great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith St, Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI.
