Ivan was one of the Fidelity service managers that I had the pleasure and honor to work with for many years. On the times I visited the Smithfield office, I always made sure to see Ivan and have a chat with him. I just found out about his passing and am sad I won't see him. I will miss him and his sharp sense of humor. I loved his accent. With much sadness, your friend, Mo.

I worked and walked alongside Ivan for fifteen years at Fidelity. I saw up close how compassionate and kind he was. He always sent kind thoughts on Holidays and birthdays. Ivan did not care if you were a CEO or the janitor. He treated everyone with the same charm, dignity and respect. I always loved hearing about his trips to Ireland to see his family. He was a wonderful ambassador for the Emerald Isle. On one of his trips he brought me a keychain with the Celtic cross for which now I will always treasure . Rest in holy peace my dear friend.

Dear Paddy & Joan, dear family and friends of Ivan,
I am so sorry to hear of Ivan´s passing and just as sad that I have no other way to contact you, as I have no addresses or contact numbers for any of you. I only heard about your loss from my sister, Nicola, by phone.
Please know that I am with you all in my thoughts & prayers and that I want to convey my heartfelt condolences in this way.
I hope you can take some consolation from God´s own promise, when he says :"See, I am making all things new." -A new Heavens and a new Earth- a system in which all the outworkings of Satans system will have no place. (Revelations Ch 21:1-5) It will be a period in which all those in death will be raised up again (John 5:28,29) to an oportunity of real life, and in which no inhabitant of Earth will ever again say "I am ill." (Isaiah Chapter 33:24 and Chap. 65) And whats more, he will do it all very soon.
May Jehovah God comfort you and give you all strength to continue until that wonderful time comes.
Eugene

I was planning a work trip to Ireland. Ivan heard about my trip and quickly sent me an email with all sorts of suggestion on what to do and where to go. It was so helpful. Later when we both decided to retire from Fidelity, I happened to be back in RI for a work trip, we had an opportunity to go out, laugh, talk and have a drink or two. It was a wonderful evening. I will miss his spirit, his humor, his wit and his great laugh. Fly high Ivan. You will be missed by so many.
