James R. Keyes, 94, died Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was the husband of the late Constance (Laliberte) Keyes. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James A. and Agnes T. (Greene) Keyes.Jim served in World War II flying seventy-two combat missions over N. Africa and Europe as a Technical Sgt. tail gunner on B-26 Martin Marauders. After the war, he joined the Unites States Post Office, delivering mail in the Norwood area of Warwick until retirement. He was very artistic and enjoyed refinishing antique furniture. He also acted in the community theater. Jim leaves no blood relatives.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick. Burial with military Honors will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
