Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Joseph DiPina and Joyce (Thornton) DiPina; mother of Curtis DiPina, Michelle R. Dulin-Adomey and her husband Anoumou, Andrew Dulin, Michael Dulin, Ryan Young and Elva Shelton; grandmother of 19; great-grandmother of 17; sister of Gary, Joseph and Sheay DiPina and Lisa Sack. She was also the dear friend of Laura King.
Joan had worked as a C.N.A.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 9:15 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by burial in North Burial Ground, Providence.
