John T. “Jack” Cole, 95, formerly of East Providence, died November 28, 2018 at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol, RI. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Devlin) Cole.
Born in Providence he was the son of the late John and Alice (Bannon) Cole and brother of the late Jane Cole.
He retired as an East Providence Fire Department Firefighter and was a decorated U.S. Army Veteran of the Second World War having served in the Asian Pacific Theater. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third Street East Greenwich, RI. Burial with military honors will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI .
Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
