Mooney, John H., Sr. age 66 of Smith St., passed away on February 24, 2010 at Miriam Hospital. He was the former husband of Carol A. (Borden) Mooney. Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Alfred and Evelyn(Flowers)Mooney. Before retirement, Mr. Mooney was a self employed dry wall installer and painter for the last 20 years. He was the loving father of John H. Mooney, Jr. , Alice E. Laurie and Dawn M. Mooney all of Providence. Brother of Edwin, James, Leroy and Charles Mooney. Grandfather of Ann Marie and William J. Laurie. He was also the brother of the late Earl, Alfred and Bernice Mooney. Visiting hours will be on MONDAY, from 5 to 7pm, followed by a service at 7 pm in the chapel of the RUSSELL J.
