Being the first baby boy born in Lying In Hospital, he was the son of the late Mariano and Rosaria (Pace) Baffaro.
Joe retired from Bostich Inc. in 1987. He was also a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was the father of Linda Splendorio, Vincent DiBiasio, Diane Cullen, David and Michael Baffaro, Patricia Arakelian and Deborah Orosco; grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 20. He was also predeceased by 7 siblings.
His visitation and funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Rocco Church, 971 Atwood Avenue, Johnston.
