Joseph M. “Joey” Golden, 33, of Riverside, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Born in Providence, he was a son of Elaine G. (Brown) O’Brien and the late Francis D. Golden. He was the step son of Michael O’Brien. Joey worked as a furniture mover for Cardi’s Furniture Store’s for several years. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Besides his mother and step-father, he leaves two brothers, Francis D. Golden and Brian C. Golden, both of Cranston; two nephews whom he was very close to, Brian and Robert Golden; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his companion of several years, Stephanie.Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joey’s family on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 8:00pm, in the Russell J.
