Greene, Joseph J., Sr. age 72 of Whitmarsh St., passed away on March 25, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Glendinning) Greene. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Charles and Mae (Vincent) Greene. Mr. Greene was a professional musician as a drummer with many country and western bands. He was also a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family. He was the father of James C., John V. , Joseph J. Greene, Jr., and Joanne Adey. Brother of Norman, Jerry, Rita, Anita and Patricia and the late Elsie, Carol, Bernie and Sonny. He was the grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 1. His funeral with visitation will be held on THURSDAY at 8 am followed by a funeral service at 10 am in The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 142 Centerville Rd., WARWICK.
