Joseph Peter Kourey

Born in Providence and raised on Federal Hill, Joseph was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Boulous) Kourey.

Joe owned and operated JoeRose Incorporated Taxi for 43 years before retiring. He was a United States Army veteran and a Rhode Island College and New England Tech graduate with a degree in electrical engineering. Joseph loved his hobbies of Lionel toy trains and driving his classic convertible Cadillac to Newport Beach.

He leaves behind his wife Rose Giampietro, and son's James, Joseph, and Peter Giampietro; Grandchildren Tara, James Jr, Kylia, Jessica, Rachel, and Cameron; Great Grandchildren Jaliyah, Dante, Jasmine, and Arabella. He was the brother of Susan Cantata.

The family wishes to thank Hospice' nurses and CNA's for their many acts of kindness and sympathy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM in St. George Maronite Church, 1483 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
