Joe was a bartender at Vic’s Tap for many years and worked for the Providence Civic Center during events. He was a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam era and a member of the Rosario Society. Joe was an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking.
He was the father of Sherry Goodrich and the late Anthony Villani; brother of John, Steven, Robert and the late Michael, Daniel and Alexander Villani; grandfather of Alexis, Paul, Kyle and Ryan and former husband of Janice (Duclaw) Grieco.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00am. Burial, with Military Honors to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION TUESDAY 5-8 PM.
