Josephine Ann Fitzpatrick

Josephine A. Fitzpatrick (Daly) 88, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Hallworth House, in Providence. She was the loving wife of Joseph A. Fitzpatrick. They were married for 62 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (D'Angelo) Daly. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a secretary for Merrill Lynch for several years. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a devoted communicant of the Holy Name of Jesus Church. Besides her husband, she leaves her two sons, Michael Fitzpatrick, and his wife, Diane, and Shawn Fitzpatrick, and his wife Donna; two daughters, Mary T. Pelletier, and her husband, John, and Anne D. Regnery, and her husband, David; her siblings, William J. Daly, MD and Mary E. Burns; and twelve grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Joseph Fitzpatrick and sister of the late Thomas F. Daly, MD, Elizabeth K. Daly, Frances J. DeLuca, and Patricia A. Daly. Josephine's funeral will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:15 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 pm, in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 99 Camp Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours will be TODAY from 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
