Judith Ann Sova

Born in Providence, Judy was the daughter of the late Albert and Ethel (Gardner) Heron.

In addition to her husband, Judy leaves her children, Denise A. Martin of Scituate, Nancy A. Wolstencroft of Exeter, Kathleen M. Almonte of North Providence and Michael J. Sova Jr of Cranston. Judy was predeceased by her dearly loved daughter, Dawn M. Rodier. 

Judy also leaves her grandchildren, Kyle Brown, Amanda Rodier, Nicole Rodier, Heather Petrangelo, Jeffrey Wolstencroft, Alex Almonte, Kevin Almonte, Michael Almonte, Abigale Almonte, Bridget Sova, Sean Sova, Kailey Sova and 3 great grandchildren. 

Judy was the adored sister of John Heron, Joseph Heron, James Heron, Jeffrey Heron, Jeremy Heron, Joan Lewis and Jane Robillard. She was also predeceased by brothers Robert and Richard Heron. 

Judy owned and operated her own hair salon for many years. She was a stylist in RI and in Florida before her retirement. 

Judys greatest joy was her time spent with family and friends. She was always very active and loved competing in different games. She split her time between RI, Florida and Maine. Judy also found peace being on or near the water.

Judy leaves so many great memories with all who knew her. 

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on February 26th at Saint Timothy's Church 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St Jude's Children's Hospital in Judys name.
