Kathy A. Zambarano

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Nancy (Labonte) Guenette and the late Joseph Guenette.

Kathy worked for Women and Infants Hospital for 23 years before retiring. Prior to that, she worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 10 years. She was also a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church.

Kathy enjoyed working out in the yard gardening and landscaping during the summer months and she also enjoyed days at the beach or by the pool.

She had a smile that could light up a room when she walked in and left an impact on everyone who came into her life and will be greatly missed.

She was the loving mother of Joseph Zambarano and Anthony Zambarano and sister of Donald Guenette and his wife Stacey, Steven Guenette, Joanne Russo and her husband John, Michelle DeCesare and the late Paul Guenette. She was also aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy’s memory to the Our Lady of Grace Memorial Fund, 4 Lafayette Street, Johnston, RI 02919.
