

East ProvidenceKevin T. Pare, 52, of Rosemere Drive, died Friday morning at Rhode Island Hospital from injuries sustained after being struck by an automobile on his way to work. He was the beloved son of Thomas J. and Alice M. (Collins) Pare. Born in Providence, he lived in East Providence most of his life. Kevin was a Chemist for Technic, Inc. for the past several years. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, Providence, and the Community College of Rhode Island. A warm and compassionate person who loved to read and had a thirst for knowledge, he encouraged his many nieces and nephews to do the same by his example. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Besides his loving parents, Kevin leaves three brothers, Chief Mark S. Pare, Wrentham Fire Department, Lt. Col. John F. Pare (U.S. Army Ret.) and his wife Theresa, and Michael J. Pare and his wife Terri; and loving nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Stephen, Thomas, Meghan, Joseph, Elizabeth, Amanda, Carlene, and James. The funeral will be held Wednesday, at 9:45am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Tuesday 5 - 8 pm.
