To the family of Kim Allen, I was so sorry to hear about Kim's passing. Although I had not seen her since high school, she is a person that I will always remember. A few months later I was riding my bike down Kenyon Avenue with my "Gee for EG" town council campaigning shirt, which she spotted and pulled me over. Her children were strapped in their car seats and I immediately said to her, "You've got to come by our house (just up the road) to let your kids ride on the trains which go around the house!" We never reconnected. But the invitation is still good and this time let's make sure her children get that ride. The Lord has taken away a piece of my hearta�"for a good causea�"so we can get caught up after all this time. Mark Gee

I can't remember, but I think it was Kim's first job after her graduationa�"with me, at Data Resources in East Providence. I needed someone to handle customer service and manage the office. I've never had an easier hire with someone who answered an ad in the paper. She was bright, vivacious, articulate with an appealing accent (?), and wore a smile to melt your heart. Full disclosure: she was adorably cute, dressed in purple slacks. I immediately liked her and my instincts were correct. She was a quick learner, understood good (customer) service, was smart, trustworthy and conscientious. And, she was fun. How could you not adore this charming young lady? Eventually, she moved on, and became a customer at her next job. Three or four years ago, my wife and I were walking down Main Street in East Greenwich when I heard a familiar voice call, "Do you remember me?" Of course I remembered! How could we not remember Kimberly? She gave me her Student Loan Authority business card and I called her, but never was able to hook up.

My heartfelt condolences to Kim's children and family. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Kim was a truly amazing person. In the short time I knew her as she coached my son Zack you would have never known what she was going through. She was truly devoted to those kids. She helped me as I was going through a health issue as well. Always offering her assistance. Kim has a wonderful and supportive family. God bless you. She is at peace with God.

Kim I am truly going to miss you. When Diane told me the news it broke my heart but I know you are going to a better place and you don't have to go through no more suffering. I was amazed at the mother you was so devoted to your children even though you battle cancer so many times you never gave up on live, motherhood, you lived your life to the fullest. I am so bless to have met you. I was amazed at your strength, your positive vibes, you were an angel in my life . I learned so much from you in the short time I knew you . When I blessed to be around Kim and her family, some 9 years ago, Kim had won her first bout with cancer. Although stricken down at times with the disease, Kim never allowed it to interfere with the determined, vibrant, caring and loving person she was. My sympathies go out to her loving children Kyle and Natalie, her nephew Brandon, her father Bob, her mother Gail, but most of all to Kim's sister Debbie who I know not only loved her, but who often looked up to her. Kim was a role model to us all and will be missed... ..Please accept our love and condolences.

Hollie will always be your "Hollie Boom Bots" you always made Hollie feel so special. She lit up when you walked into the room. You were always so pretty and dressed so elegantly.
