Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alberto and Louise (Argenti) Gizzarelli; mother of Michael A. DiGiacomo and his wife Brooke, Christine R. Rebello and her husband James; grandmother of Ashley Duphiney and Adam Rebello; sister of Albert Gizzarelli, Marilyn Jackvony and Alberta Nota.
Mrs. DiGiacomo had worked for the State of Rhode Island for many years before retiring.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 8:30-10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
