Lucille G. Lombardo

Lucille G. (Lanzi) Lombardo, 74 of Green Valley Drive, Johnston, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2017. She was the beloved wife for 56 years to Henry Lombardo and daughter of the late Arthur and Viola (Ricci) Lanzi.

Lucille was the activities director at Morgan Health Center for 20 years. She was also a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church and was instrumental in starting the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed family gatherings and knitting.

She was the mother of Diane Rocchio and her husband John, Steven Lombardo and his wife Michelle, David Lombardo and Brenda Lees and her husband Christopher; grandmother of 7; great grandmother of 2 and sister of Josephine Gemma.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 AM from ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION TUESDAY 4-7 PM.
