Providence: Rush, Margaret-Mary (McElroy), 85, of Maude St., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Rush, Sr. and George F. Catterson, Jr.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Grace (Kelleher) McElroy.She is survived by her 5 sons, Timothy, Terrance and Daniel Catterson, Edward F. and David J. Rush, 6 daughters, Maureen Stehle, Kathleen Catterson, Jeanne Stanton, Margaret-Mary "Mickey" Catterson, Mary-Beth Tsiokas and Stephanie Catterson-McCaffrey; 2 sisters, Virginia Briggs and Grace Peters; 18 grandchildren and3 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Christopher, George and Scott Catterson.Funeral and visitation will be held on Monday at 8:00am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Pius V. Church, Eaton St., Providence.
