Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Antonetta (Rossi) Ferrante.
Marie was a dedicated and hard-working homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, crafting, and spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves her three children, Carl R. Nappa of Warwick, Stephen J. Nappa of Johnston, and Donna M. Geiger of Wilmington, North Carolina. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Arthur, and William Ferrante, Theresa Monteiro, Jean Turchetti, Phyllis Andrade and Carmella Gilvey. She also leaves six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Monday from 8:00-9:30 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
