Marian Veronica O'Shea

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Ann ( Keighron ) Kelly.

Marian was a couture and seamstress in London, England. She was an expert in copy design and had created the gown for Mrs Chaffee's inaugural ball for the late Governor John Chaffee. Marian was also a published poet and had won an award for her poetry.

Marian is survived by her daughter Linda O' Shea of Chepachet, RI, her son John O'Shea of Providence, RI, her beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth Slowinski, Katherine (Slowinski) Lee and her husband John, Tyler O'Shea and his wife Bethany, Casey (O'Shea) Lemay and her husband Chris. She also leaves her adoring great grandson Jake Lee and a niece Roslind (Kelly) McEwan, nephew John Kelly and great nephew Graeme McEwan of Scotland.

Marian was mother of the late Michael J. O'Shea, Jr. and grandmother of the late Michael J. O'Shea, III.

Inurnment in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston will take place Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00 am. If you plan to attend the service we will meet in the parking lot just outside the main gate at St. Ann Cemetery.
