ProvidenceMarie E. (King) Dionne, 81, of Lindy Avenue, died Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Dionne, Sr. They were married for over sixty years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Earl H. and Olive R. (Martin) King, she was a lifelong city resident. Mrs. Dionne was a mender specialist for the Atlas Chain Company for twenty-five years before retiring. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church for many years. Besides her husband Edward, she leaves two daughters, Donna M. Cesario and Deborah Ann Giacobbi; a son, Edward J. Dionne, Jr.; a brother, Joseph M. King; three grandchildren, Chrisily, Jessica and Elizabeth; and five great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Earl T. King (P.F.D.) and Evelyn Villandry. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday, 6 - 8 pm.
