

Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Vittorio and Lucy (Grieco) Iannitti. Raised in a close-knit family, Marie carried the values of hard work, devotion, and generosity throughout her life.
Marie worked for many years at E.E. Weller Co. in Providence before following her entrepreneurial spirit and opening Victor’s Jewelry, which she proudly owned and operated for 20 years. Later, she continued her dedication to serving the community as a school bus driver for the Cranston School Department for 11 years, retiring in 2009.
Marie was the loving mother of Victor J. Iannitti and his wife Julie of Cranston, and the cherished grandmother of Joseph and Matthew Iannitti. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her siblings Tom Iannitti, Victor Iannitti, Charles Iannitti, and Bernadette Parent.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Marie will be remembered for her love for her family, her unique sense of humor, her strong work ethic, and her genuine care for others.
