She was the wife of Salvatore Bart for 61 years; daughter of the late Joseph and Madalena (Arciero) Lanni; beloved mother of Mary Ann Susi and her late husband Frank Sr., John J. Bart and his wife Nancy; grandmother of Joyce Marandola, Alaina and Angelica Bart, and the late Frank Susi Jr.; great-grandmother of Marc and Capri Marandola; sister of Edward and Michael Lanni, and the late Joseph, John, Louis and Anthony Lanni.
Mary had been a hairdresser for 35 years and taught CCD classes at The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary where she was a communicant.
Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Tuesday at 8 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Home for Children, 420 Fruit Hill Avenue, North Providence, RI 02911.
