Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Harry andElizabeth (Rigney) Read.She leaves her daughter, Barbara Beaulieu of Johnston; two brothers, Fred Read of West Greenwich and Robert Read of Cranston and several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was the sister of the late Henry "Buddy" Read and Edward Read.Mary graduated from St. Mary's Academy of the Visitation in Providence.Donations in her memory may be made to St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence, RI 02909.
