Mary Watson Coutcher

Mary W. Coutcher, 84, of Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 12, 2013 at the South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond W. Coutcher, Sr.Born in Riverside, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Watson) Brown.In her earlier years she loved to play golf at Goddard Park with her late friend Thelma Iannotti. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves her three children, Linda Langlois, of Coventry, Raymond W. Coutcher, Jr, of Richmond, and Susan J. Collins, of Wakefield; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, George Brown, of Riverside and Fred Brown, of Rumford; two sisters, Grace Kaiser, of Riverside and Eleanor Peterson, of Coventry; and her best friend of sixty five years, Dorothy "Dot" Higham. She also leaves her two kitties, Maui and Penny. Mary was also the sister of the late Joseph Brown and Elizabeth Mernick.Mary's funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117 - Exit 10 off I95) Warwick, with a Requiem Eucharist at 11:00 am, in Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, 3257 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
