Mary T. Dillon

Smithfield Mary T. Dillon, 86, of Smithfield, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Village at Waterman Lake surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Dillon, Sr. Born in Chelsea, MA, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Eileen (Barry) Twohig.Mary worked as an administrative assistant for the Providence Water Supply Board for 20 years before retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Smithfield Senior Center and Club Dominicana of Saint Pius V Church.She leaves a son, William P. Dillon and his wife Adria; two daughters, Anne F. Dillon and her husband John P. Carey, and Maureen Dillon Sleight and her husband Raymond G. Sleight; a brother, Patrick J. Twohig; a sister, Kathleen Rigney; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Friday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Thursday 4:00 -8:00 pm.
