Mary T. Eldridge

Eldridge, Mary T., (Hynes) 81, of Hemalin Road, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Steere House Nursing Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Frank W. Eldridge for 59 years.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Mary A. (Donellan) Hynes.Mary was a secretary for the R.I. Department of Human Services for 20 years retiring in 2007. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and gardening as well as participating in her walking club prior to retirement.She is survived by her four children, Kim Eldridge of East Greenwich, Karolye Eldridge of Elkins Park, PA, Stephen Eldridge of Warwick, Kristine Sullivan of Nantucket; three brothers, Francis A. Hynes of Port St. Lucie, FL, Raymond G. Hynes of West Warwick and Charles P. Hynes of Brookville IN, a sister, R. Patricia Kinnunen of Punta Gorda, FL; four grandchildren, Owen and Quincy Sullivan, Olivia Eldridge Browne and Lucy Clingham Eldridge. She was the sister of the late Thomas Hynes, John J. Hynes, Jr., James M. Hynes, William H. Hynes and Gertrude A. Joyce.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Monday, September, 8, 2014, 5-7 pm in the Russell J.
