Mary Margaret Kelley

Mary Margaret (Brennan) Kelley, 87, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2014 at South Shore Hospital, in Weymouth MA, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Walter L. Kelley, Sr.Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Margaret (O'Meara) Brennan.Over the course of her life, Mary actively volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the parishes of St. Thomas, St. Matthew's, and the Church of the Assumption. She loved dancing, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with her family and her many longtime friends.She leaves her loving children, Barbara, John, Susan, Walter, Mary, and Bill, along with their respective spouses, John Simons, Ken Greenwood, Kevin McGrath, Cristina, Andy Rosenzweig, and Carolyn. Mary is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and a great granddaughter, whom she was delighted to meet on Christmas Day. She was the loving sister of the late Reverend William J. Brennan and Joan O'Grady.Mary's funeral will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117 - Exit 10 off I-95) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am in Saint Matthew Church, Elmwood Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Thursday, 4-8 pm.
