Providence Mary E. (Sharkey) Lemos, 88, formerly of Carleton Street, died Friday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late John K. Lemos, Sr.Born in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Martin P. and Delia (Feeley) Sharkey, she lived in Providence most of her life. Mary, along with her late husband John, was the co-owner of Ken-Mar Dry Cleaners, in the Smith Hill Section of Providence, for forty-five years, before retiring in 1993; she also worked in the Operations Department of Citizens Bank for several years.Mary was a communicant of Saint Pius V Church.She leaves a son, John K. Lemos, Jr. and his wife Donna (Towers) Lemos; and a brother, James F. Sharkey and his wife Alice (Murphy) Sharkey. The funeral will be held Monday, at 9:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Sunday, 2 - 5 pm.
