Daley, Mary L., RN, 88, formerly of Modena Ave Providence; and the Scandinavian Assisted Living Home in Cranston, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Philip Hulitar Home & Hospice Center. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Gaffney) Daley. Mary graduated from the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. As a registered nurse, she worked at the Veterans Adminstration Medical Center in Providence from 1949-1979, during this time she served for two years with the US Air Force in the Philippines. She was the sister of the late Austin C. Daley and Mildred B. Daley. She leaves a nephew, two grand nephews and one grand niece. Her funeral with visitation will be held on Monday at 8:45am from The Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith St., Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Paul Church, One Saint Paul Place, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston
