Mary L. Sperduti

Mary L. (Santucci) Sperduti, age 93, passed away on December 12, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Attillo (Pete) Sperduti.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Carmine and Giuseppina (Ciancola) Santucci.

Mary loved baking and cooking, especially wine biscuits, cheesecakes, and rice pies. She was also an avid bowler and enjoyed being a member of the Ladies Guild. She was incredibly devoted to her family and her faith and enjoyed sharing many of her Italian traditions with others.

She was the loving mother of Marianne Pulsifer, Peter M. Sperduti (Lee), John P. Sperduti, and the late Stephen Sperduti; cherished grandmother of Heather Zukowski (Jan), Bianca Sperduti, and Samuel Sperduti; devoted great-grandmother of Jack and Ellery Zukowski; and sister in law and best friend of Natalie Sperduti. She was predeceased by her sister Anna Nunes and daughter in law Michele A. Corbeil-Sperduti.

Her visitation will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
