She was the wife of the late Donald J. Arena; daughter of the late Fiorantino and Ida (DeThomas) Ancone; mother of Gina M. Breene-Stebenne and husband Kenneth, and Julie Arena-Brooks; grandmother of Christopher, Ashley, Kelsey, Amber, Donte, Dylan; great-grandmother of Karlee; sister of the late Richard Ancone.
Maureen had worked at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital as a Central Service Tech before retiring.
Visitation will be held Monday, 5-7 p.m. with her funeral on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
