Warwick: Bates, Michael, 62, of Urban Ave, passed away on Saturday at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of Wesley Bates of Bonita Springs, FL and the late Theresa (Pistano) Bates, stepson of Gladys F. Bates and brother of the late Linda McCreadie. Michael was an assembler for the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center in Warwick. His funeral and visitation will be held on Friday at 8:30am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in St. Catherine Church, Post Rd, Warwick. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, 3445 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02886, in his memory would be appreciated.
