Morris D. Malark, 89, passed away November 23, 2018.
He was the husband of Barbara A. (Sisto) Malark; son of the late John and Pearl (Grimshaw) Malark; loving father of Steven A. Malark and his wife Gail, and Mariann Rachko and her husband Joseph; cherished grandfather of Connor, Jared and Cara; father-in-law of Carmela Malark. He was the father of the late John A. Malark and was predeceased by 11 siblings.
Morris served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a driver and a salesman for the former Louitt Laundry and retired from the City of Providence. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Red Sox.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 8:30-9:30 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 9:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.com/donate.
