

Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Ernesto and Jenny (Penta) Nastari and had been the husband of Carmela (DiFruscio) Nastari for 63 years.
Mr. Nastari had been employed as a machine operator for A.T. Cross for 21 years. After retiring, he worked with his son Michael at Teakwood Florist in Johnston. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of WWII, a member of the Salvatore Mancini Senior Center, a member of the Sons of Italy of North Providence and had been an avid golfer and artist.
He was the father of Steven, Paul and Michael Nastari; grandfather of 6; brother of Armand Nastari, Angie Bungiro and the late Michael, Joseph, Anthony, Albert and Ernest Nastari.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. with a funeral on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by a burial with Military Honors in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
