Patricia A. Prior

A lifelong resident of the Mt. Pleasant section of Providence, Patricia was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. Ms. Prior was a proud Alumna of Providence College and retired from F.M. Global after a long and successful career as a Senior Auditor.

Pat loved to laugh and spend time with those whom she was close to. She showered affection on family and friends not just with traditional gifts but with homemade ones made of her beautiful knitting and spiritual ones through her daily prayer.  Although her body had grown fragile over the years her spirit soared on the wings of those she loved.  She was a proud daughter, a loving sister, a best friend and an ever doting aunt & great-aunt.

She was a dutiful child of God with gentle eyes and quiet, loving ways who will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Patsy, you will live in our hearts forever.

Pat is survived by her sisters, Mary Ellen Smith and her husband Joseph of Tarpon Springs, FL, Ann F. Plowman of North Kingstown, her nieces and nephews, James Smith and his wife Victoria of Providence, Christine Cordani and her husband Joseph of Redding, CT, Brendan Smith and his wife Erin of Dallas, TX, David Plowman and his wife Tracy of Exeter and her great nephews Seamus Smith, Joseph and Anthony Cordani and Jonathan and Nickolas Plowman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday December 11, 2020 at 10:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 239 Regent Ave, Providence, RI. Because of the current Covid-19 restrictions, burial will be private.
